About the Role
Join a dynamic and supportive team in a modern workshop environment, specialising in the manufacture of high-quality electrical switchboards. While an electrical qualification is highly regarded, it is not essential—we welcome experienced fitters with a strong background in switchboard assembly.
This is a predominantly workshop-based role, with occasional opportunities for site work. You’ll be working on a wide variety of switchboard types, from MCCs and 2500A busbar boards to meter panels and distribution boards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and fabricate electrical switchboards to specification
- Interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Perform cable installation and terminations
- Cut, punch, and bend busbar materials with precision
- Maintain high safety standards and follow WHS protocols
- Proven experience in switchboard manufacturing
- Skills in cabling and terminations
- Experience with busbar fabrication (cutting, punching, bending)
- Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams
- Strong team ethic and ability to work autonomously
- Positive attitude and willingness to mentor apprentices
- QLD Electrical Fitter Licence (preferred)
- QLD Driver’s Licence and reliable transport
- Construction White Card
