About our Client
Our client is a well‑established civil contractor delivering land development and infrastructure projects across Auckland. They are known for steady growth, a strong workload, and a practical, tight‑knit site culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver topographical surveys, cross-sections, and elevation maps.
- Conduct field surveys and update construction drawings.
- Operate and maintain GPS, total stations, and other survey equipment.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
- Prepare as-built plans and maintain accurate survey records.
- Provide data for monthly progress claims and cost estimates.
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to clarify survey requirements
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Tertiary qualification in Surveying or a related field
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a professional Surveyor, preferably in the construction sector
- Strong technical skills in land surveying, including the use of surveying equipment and software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards
- Competitive salary - $100k – $150k + vehicle
