About the Role

We are looking for a Storeperson/Forklift Operator to join our site based in Mosgiel. Please note that this role will be predominantly working alone, therefore you must be comfortable with this. You will be working in a fast paced environment to assist with all warehousing duties. The successful candidate must have an OSH Forklift Certificate and be confident operating a forklift, including operating a counterbalance. You will also be utilising computer systems so you must be computer literate. Please note this is a permanent, part-time position for 4-5 hours per day. The hours of work are Monday – Friday 09:00 AM – 02:00 PM (or similar). Duties will include:

• Operating a Forklift Truck to pick customer orders
• Picking and packing orders
• Putting stock away in the warehouse
• Loading and wrapping pallets
• Regularly lifting 20kgs of product
• You may sometimes be climbing ladders etc so must be physically able
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Working alone in a warehouse includes stock and inventory management
• Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised
• Assisting installers with loading their trucks

• Full Driver’s License
• OSH Forklift Operator’s certificate with strong forklift experience
• Good computer skills and the ability to pick up new systems quickly
• Willingness to be able to lend a hand where required and understand that no two days may be the same
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test and pass random drug tests throughout your employment
• Thorough with good attention to detail
• Physically able
• Strong communication skills
• Possess a keen and positive attitude
• Be able to follow all Health & Safety protocols and procedures
