About the Role
Join a trusted name in civil infrastructure delivering key roading and maintenance projects across Canterbury. You’ll oversee on-site traffic management operations, lead field crews, and ensure safety and compliance under the latest TTM standards. This is a full-time, This is a full-time, temporary role (minimum 40 hours, typically 50+) with penal rates for overtime and weekends.

Duties
• Implement and monitor Traffic Management Plans (TMPs)
• Lead toolbox talks and allocate daily tasks
• Mentor and train junior STMS and TMO staff
• Maintain site safety for workers and road users
• Ensure compliance with NZGTTM and client standards

Skills & Experience
• Current STMS A/B Practising qualification 
• Unit Standard 31963 or equivalent under new NZGTTM framework
• Class 2 licence preferred
• Confident leading crews & making sound decisions on-site
• Fit, adaptable, and comfortable working outdoors (days/nights/away)
