Site supervisor - Ashhurst
We’re looking for a driven Site Supervisor with solid hydro experience to join our team in Ashhurst. If you thrive in fast‑paced environments, love leading crews on site, and don’t mind getting hands‑on in the workshop between projects, this role is for you. What you’ll do:
- Lead and supervise daily on-site and workshop activities for hydro-related projects.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to maintain smooth and efficient site operations.
- Manage crews, subcontractors, and site resources to meet project deadlines.
- Travel between Ashhurst, Hawke’s Bay, and Waikato may be required.
- Read and interpret drawings, plans, and technical documents accurately.
What you need:
- Proven experience in hydro projects — essential.
- Strong background in supervising teams in a construction or industrial environment.
- Previous welding and fabrication experience would be highly beneficial.
- Confident interpreting technical drawings and documentation.
- Strong understanding of site safety and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
