Stellar Recruitment is proud to partner with an Australian‑based renewable and civil contractor to bring on an experienced Civil Supervisor ready to step into a leadership role across large‑scale infrastructure projects.
This role combines practical operating capability with day‑to‑day crew supervision. You’ll keep work moving on site, support the delivery of civil activities across renewables, and maintain a safe, efficient, and well‑coordinated work environment.
You’ll begin by wrapping up an active project in the Bay of Plenty before moving into a brand‑new project in Whangārei as the business continues to expand its New Zealand operations.
Key Skills & Experience
- 3+ years in a civil leadership or supervisory position
- Strong hands‑on operating experience across machinery, trenching, access tracks, and cable trenching
- Confident managing multiple crews, planning work sequences, and maintaining site compliance
- Relevant machinery tickets including WTR
- Clear communicator with the ability to work across civil and electrical teams
- Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, and site documentation
- Solar or renewable project experience helpful but not essential
- $45–$50 per hour flat
- Accommodation and meal allowance provided when working away
- 10 hour days, Monday to Saturday
- Strong project pipeline with clear continuation into new regions
- Supportive team with steady workflow and well‑run sites
