The role is responsible for managing a Major Hazard Facility in central QLD. It's not a big plant but still has the complexity that comes with managing facilities of this nature. The plant is a day shift only operation and requires a candidate who is strong on compliance, safety, can manage people, logistics, communicates well and ideally has a good background in chemical or process engineering AND / OR previous experience working at these types of facilities.
Candidates who have worked in industries such as Gas, Fertilizer, Sugar, Heavy Manufacturing, Explosives etc who have worked at a superintendent level or higher are encouraged to apply and would potentially be a good fit.
The client is an international company who is growing hence the role offers long term stability and potentially a pathway for more senior positions for the right person.
