This national construction firm is now seeking an additional Site Managers to join the team based in Wellington. The company is a nation business and projects in Wellington include complex commercial and MOH structures across the region.
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing the day to day activities on site, provide clear direction on tasks to be completed on a daily basis.
- Lead, coach and mentor your team to deliver high quality outcomes meeting project demands and timelines
- Lead toolbox meetings
- Manage conversations with sub contractors.
- Planning and effectively managing the program
- Liaising with clients and stakeholders while maintaining a high service quality
- Reporting on Health & Safety, quality, cost control and budget
- To meeting the performance objectives of the project
- Sub-contractor management
- Read drawings and communicate relevant tasks
- Strong financial understanding / commercially astute
- Excellent rapport building skills
- Solid IT skills including MS Office suite,
- Able to do a programme of works
- Someone that is driven and motivated
- Team orientated
- Able to read drawings
- Previous nz or aus site management experience
- Trade qualified carpentry background preferred
- Leader of Health and Safety
