Our client is a well‑established main contractor who requires an experienced Commercial Site Manager to support one of their key projects in Auckland on a contract/temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who can step onto a live site, take control quickly, and keep the programme moving.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day site operations and subcontractor coordination
- Maintain a safe, compliant, and well‑documented site
- Monitor progress against programme and escalate issues early
- Oversee quality assurance, inspections, and defect management
- Work closely with the Project Manager, engineers, and wider delivery team
- Ensure materials, trades, and logistics are well‑organised
- Resolve on‑site challenges and keep the project on track.
- Competitive hourly/contract rate ($55 - $65 per hour)
