About the Company:
Our client has recently won several major projects on top of their existing portfolio of work and as a result, they now require an experienced Site Foreman to join their team. As an employer this company has a strong market profile and stability, providing excellent longer term growth potential.
About the Role:
In this role, reporting to the Project Manager, your day-to-day tasks will include all types of general Carpentry works, specifically in light commercial new builds. You will read and interpret plans and specifications, making adjustments where necessary, working with sub-contractors while over seeing a small team of quality Tradesmen. Regular progress will be provided to the Project Manager.
About you:
- Proven Industry Experience of at least 10 years in Carpentry (5 years in Foreman role)
- Trade Qualified
- Full New Zealand Drivers License
- Fantastic work ethic and standards
- Excellent communication skills
- Great attention to detail
- Strong Health & Safety practices
- Experience leading a small team
