Job Title: Site Engineer – Roading & Infrastructure Projects

Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand (must live in the region or be willing to relocate)
Salary:
$80,000 – $110,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Our client is a well-established civil contractor with a strong pipeline of roading and infrastructure projects across the Hawke’s Bay region. Known for their commitment to quality, safety, and community impact, they are seeking a capable Site Engineer
to join their growing team and play a key role in delivering high-profile works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain project momentum
- Monitor progress and proactively address issues to keep projects on track
- Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to design specifications
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Proven experience in roading or civil infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of NZTA standards and construction methodologies
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in project management tools and software
