The Situation:
We are seeking an experienced Site Administrator to join a leading mining client on a permanent basis, working an 8:6 roster. Based near Middlemount, this role plays a pivotal part in supporting all departments and operations on site, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all site administration, including record keeping, data entry, and document control
- Enter hazard and safety reporting into internal databases and software systems
- Provide administrative support to training, superintendents, and department managers
- Handle filing, archiving, and respond to phone and email enquiries
- Assist with scheduling, coordination, and communication with both internal and external stakeholders
- Reconcile invoices and monitor site-related expenses
- Oversee onboarding processes, including medical bookings and employee file updates
- Coordinate site inductions, training sessions, and travel arrangements
- Proven site administration experience within mining or heavy industry
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask
- Demonstrated experience in high-volume administrative environments
- Proficiency in data entry and document management systems
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments
- Hold a Current Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 or willing to obtain
