Our reputable client, with sites all throughout Australia, is seeking experienced Shotfirers for work at Lake Cowal. This client offers employees the opportunity to develop their mining skills and enjoy great cultural in the workplace environment.
This role is dayshift only, on a 7/7 roster, DIDO from West Wyalong, NSW. Accomodation is provided when on swing and the company provide a bus from accom to site daily. Annual and sick leave are provided for this permanent position.
Duties:
- Operation off drill rigs in a safe and efficient manner
- Strive to reach and exceed all meterage targets
- Perform all pre-start checks on the machinery
- Assisting with Drill Support when required
- Commitment to the highest safety standards
- Dangerous Goods Security Card Required, Driving Licence Desirable
- NSW BUEL surface shot firing license (required)
- High Risk Ticket
- Experience in maintenance and housekeeping of MPU equipment & reload facilities
- Must pass a pre-employment medical and lab drug & alcohol screen
