About the Role:
Stellar Recruitment, in partnership with Enaex Australia, is seeking an experienced Shotfirer
to join an exciting Xpress Crew
for blasting operations across various sites. As a key member of this team, you’ll be responsible for carrying out shotfiring operations and ensuring the safety and efficiency of all activities. With travel, flights, and accommodation provided, this is a great opportunity for a Shotfirer who loves variety in their work and is ready to make an impact across multiple locations.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Carry out surface shotfiring operations, ensuring compliance with blast plans and safety regulations
- Manage the delivery, storage, and use of explosives, maintaining strict inventory control
- Supervise blast personnel during loading operations, tie-ins, and blast initiation
- Monitor and manage post-blast activities, ensuring safety for re-entry
- Identify and manage risks associated with blasting, including misfires and fume events
- Contribute to continuous safety improvement and compliance with company policies and procedures
- Proven experience as a Shotfirer in a mining environment
- Strong knowledge of explosive handling, blasting procedures, and safety protocols
- A solid understanding of risk management and the ability to assess and control hazardous situations
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a mobile team
- A commitment to safety and a ‘Zero Harm’ culture
- Current Shotfirer License (State Specific)
- Open Class Manual Driver’s License
- Relevant State Security and Police checks
- S11 & Coal Board Medical
