About the Role:
Stellar Recruitment, in partnership with Enaex Australia, is seeking experienced Shotfirers, Leading Hand and Site Supervisor.
As key members of this team, you’ll be responsible for carrying out shotfiring operations and ensuring the safety and efficiency of all activities. This is a great opportunity for a Shotfirer who loves variety in their work and is ready to make an impact and take the next step in their career.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Carry out surface shotfiring operations, ensuring compliance with blast plans and safety regulations
- Manage the delivery, storage, and use of explosives, maintaining strict inventory control
- Supervise blast personnel during loading operations, tie-ins, and blast initiation
- Monitor and manage post-blast activities, ensuring safety for re-entry
- Identify and manage risks associated with blasting, including misfires and fume events
- Contribute to continuous safety improvement and compliance with company policies and procedures
- Proven experience as a Shotfirer in a mining environment
- Strong knowledge of explosive handling, blasting procedures, and safety protocols
- A solid understanding of risk management and the ability to assess and control hazardous situations
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a mobile team
- A commitment to safety and a ‘Zero Harm’ culture
- Current Shotfirer License (State Specific)
- Open Class Manual Driver’s License
- QLD Security Clearance
- S11 & Coal Board Medical
