This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Service Manager to take ownership of a busy heavy equipment workshop in Napier.
You’ll lead from the front, overseeing daily operations, supporting a skilled team of Diesel Mechanics, and ensuring equipment is repaired and serviced to the highest standard. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll balance workshop efficiency, team performance, and strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of diesel mechanics.
- Take a hands-on approach to assist in workshop operations as needed.
- Liaise directly with customers, ensuring excellent service delivery.
- Oversee daily workflow, productivity, and job allocation.
- Ensure all documentation and paperwork are completed accurately and on time.
- Maintain high health and safety standards.
- Competitive salary package of $120K–$130K
