Ford Master Technician

  • Central Auckland Location with staff parking
  • Monday to Friday role, no weekend work

About the company:

Stellar Recruitment is looking for a Ford Master Technician to join our clients well performing team with several branches throughout Auckland.
  
The role will involve a 40-hour work week, representing a high-volume brand with consistent workflow in a well-established franchise workshop that offers great stability and career development.
  
The company has a rich history in the New-Zealand market, with an excellent record in staff retention and leadership ability.
  
The ideal candidate will have a workshop / dealership background, comfortable with major repair work, diagnostics and the ability to take on more intricate repair work at times.
  
To be successful in this role you will have :
  • Automotive Trade qualification
  • Good communication and presentation
  • Ability to work and diagnose Petrol and Diesel vehicles
  • 5+ Years on the tools representing the Ford brand
  • Full clean NZ Driver’s License
You will be working within a Dealership that represents a high level of workmanship within the market, with multiple locations around the country. 
  
Career progression is developed internally so Master technicians looking for a step up in time will have first hand exposure to opportunities within the wider group for life beyond the tools.
  
Key responsibilities include:
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles in line with manufacturer standards. (Retail, Fleet, Warranty)
  • Perform effective engine and electrical diagnostics
  • Ensure high-quality service and communication to Foreman and front desk service teams
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, services, and relevant warranty processes
  • Stay updated with the latest technical advancements and new model training
  • Follow all health and safety regulations in the workshop.
This opportunity is open to local applicants, with employer relocation assistance or document ready offshore applicants in the process of moving to New-Zealand.
