With the rising demand and price of critical minerals, this established WA mine is now gearing up for a full restart by bringing their process plant and associated infrastructure back into production after a period of care and maintenance. This is a rare opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to lead the reactivation of a complete processing operation, from refurbishment of the plant and piping systems through to supporting site infrastructure including an operational airstrip.

The Role

As Senior Project Manager , you’ll take charge of planning and delivery for the multi-disciplinary restart works by coordinating civil, mechanical, electrical, and piping contractors to safely and efficiently bring the process plant and infrastructure back online. You’ll work closely with the client and delivery partners to manage schedule, cost, safety, and quality performance, ensuring all systems are recommissioned and operational within tight timeframes.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager or Project Manager on mine process plants or major brownfield shutdown/restart projects for contractors in Australia
• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering 
• Multi-disciplinary knowledge across civil, SMP, and electrical scopes
• Strong understanding of pumps, piping systems, and mine process circuits
• Previous experience working with construction contractors in operational mining environments
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Results-focused mindset with a hands-on approach to problem solving
