Senior Project Manager – Civil Infrastructure (Water, Roads, Subdivisions) | Tauranga | $150k–$200k + Vehicle

Are you a seasoned Project Manager with a strong track record in delivering complex civil infrastructure projects? Our client, a respected civil contractor in Tauranga, is seeking a high-performing Senior Project Manager to lead major 3 Waters projects across the Bay of Plenty.

This is a pivotal leadership role for someone who thrives in managing large-scale, long-duration projects valued between $20M–$50M. You’ll be responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle, managing financials, and driving performance across teams, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead delivery of civil infrastructure projects (Water, Roads, Subdivisions) – no structures
• Manage full project lifecycle including planning, delivery, and close-out
• Oversee financial performance including P&L, monthly claims, and variations
• Drive procurement strategy and supplier engagement
• Manage project programs and ensure timely delivery
• Lead resources across subcontractors, fleet, and internal teams
• Maintain strong client relationships and represent the business professionally
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards

• Proven experience managing civil projects valued between $20M–$50M
• Strong background in drainage and underground services
• Deep understanding of Tauranga/Bay of Plenty civil landscape
• Skilled in financial management, claims, and commercial reporting
• Confident communicator with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
