They have recently won several industrial concrete projects in the resources and defence sectors in WA, so are now seeking a SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER with strong FRP insitu concrete and structures experience to come and be part of their ongoing success.
About the Role:
As permanent SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER working FIFO 2/1 roster ex-Perth, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of insitu and structural FRP concrete scopes on minesites, industrial process plants, Defence, and Renewables projects such as footings & foundations, plinths, columns, ring beams etc. These scopes of concrete works will typically be valued up to about $20m but may involve managing several packages of this value concurrently. You will lead and mentor teams of on-site engineers and staff while managing costs, budgets, forecasting and subbies during the delivery stages. If you possess proven experience in a similar role as SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER on these types of insitu concrete and FRP structures projects, you can expect an impressive remuneration package CIRCA $180K Base + 30% Site uplift & Toyota Hilux vehicle, laptop, phone and fuel card. Skills & Experience and Other Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or similar
- 6-8+ years’ experience as Project Engineer/ SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER on insitu CONCRETE FRP foundations and structures scopes of work in Australia (*essential)
- Exposure and experience working on a FIFO roster on concrete/structural projects on remote mining, oil & gas, energy, water, renewables, defence or civil infrastructure projects (ie. Foundations, footings, columns, plinths, ring beams, Bridge abutments, crusher structures, reclaim tunnels etc)
- Excellent all-round communication and leadership skills to mentor and guide junior staff
- Strong financial and cost management skills as well as forecasting and reporting capabilities
- Existing rights to live and work in Australia
