Stellar Recruitment is partnering with a respected Mid Tier Civil Contractor in their search for a Senior Project Engineer . With 20+ years in operation, they have become a household name for delivering complex and challenging projects typically focusing on roads, utilities, structures, earthworks and rail. Positioning themselves as solutions-focused with the ability to be nimble and act fast in the ever-changing landscape of civil construction. Over the past 6 years, they have gone through a period of exponential growth. Through this time, they have invested heavily back into the business implementing leading systems, upgrading plant, diversifying the business, office upgrades along with bringing some exceptional people into the business which have all been key factors to their success and this position is no different!
The Role :
With multiple project wins to start the new year, this role will see you project-based working on a 2:1 roster (in QLD) leading the delivery of a recently awarded project within the energy and renewables space. Reporting to a strong and proven Project Manager, this position will suit a well-rounded engineer ideally experienced across structures and civils . This is an opportunity to join the project from day 1 and implement your own processes whilst carrying them through to completion. This is a great opportunity to gain experience across a diverse scope of projects with an established pipeline of work to follow..
The Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent
- Strong site-based experience carrying projects through their full cycle
- Civil, structural and/or utilities experience is highly desirable
- Experienced in forecasting, budgeting and reporting
- Strong at building programs and commercially acute
- A team player who wants positive project outcomes
