Permanent Role
- Salary: $100-120k + super

- End-to-end payroll processing for a large, complex workforce
- Interpretation and application of awards, enterprise agreements, and payroll legislation
- Processing Coal Long Service Leave entitlements
- Managing payroll adjustments, allowances, deductions, and terminations
- Payroll reconciliations, reporting, and general ledger alignment
- Responding to payroll queries with accurate and timely advice
- Supporting payroll compliance, audits, and reporting requirements
- Maintaining accurate payroll records and documentation
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior or high-volume payroll role
- Previous payroll experience within the mining industry
- Proven experience processing Coal Long Service Leave
- Strong reconciliation skills including payroll recs and general ledger alignment
- Advanced Excel capability including pivot tables
- Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation and compliance
- High attention to detail and confidence working to strict payroll deadlines
- Comfortable working predominantly office-based with limited WFH flexibility
