Stellar Recruitment is partnering with a leading mining asset owner delivering a major brownfield upgrade in regional Queensland. With a strong pipeline of works ahead, the program has now moved into execution phase, driving the need for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the team.
This is a site-based position supporting a large-scale program of works, covering major projects, sustaining capital and ongoing infrastructure upgrades. Flexible FIFO rosters or residential options are available.
You will play a key role in managing mechanical scope across the program, ensuring safe, efficient and compliant delivery on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage mechanical packages in line with project specifications, standards and safety requirements
- Develop and implement construction work packs to support site execution
Act as the key point of contact for design queries and technical clarifications on site - Maintain engineering documentation and support safe work practices
- Work closely with project teams, engineers, and contractors to drive delivery outcomes
- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering
- Proven experience delivering mining or heavy industry infrastructure projects
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Commercial awareness with the ability to support construction programs
- Demonstrated experience managing contractors and stakeholders
- Experience in remote or regional project environments is highly regarded
