Wellington is on the move and I'm seeking an experienced Civil Operator looking to join a major Civil Infrastructure project. The right candidate will have the ability to operate a variety of heavy machinery, including excavators for precision work, able to lead a small team when required and carry out the role safely and efficiently.
What we're looking for:
- Previous Experience in Construction or Civil
- Experience operating heavy machinery I.e. Excavators, bulldozers, rollers, dump trucks etc
- Full Clean Class 1 licence with WTR (Class 2 preferred)
- Strong work ethic with good communication skills
- Competent with Health and Safety procedures
- Willingness to be on the tools and in the trenches when required
- Respect the equipment and take pride in preventive maintenance.
- Have a positive attitude and promote a healthy team environment
- High personal standards and presentation of work
- Drug-free (Pre-employment, reasonable cause, post-incident and random drug testing).
- Drive for growth and passion for Civil Construction
- $30 - $40 p/h with weekly pay
