Role:
With the Wellington Civil Construction sector set for a massive 2026, we're on the hunt for experienced Senior Machine Operators to join the ever growing list of projects across the region. The right candidate will have the ability to operate a variety of heavy machinery, including excavators for precision work, able to lead a small team when required and carry out the role safely and efficiently
What we're looking for:
- Previous Experience in Construction or Civil
- Experience operating heavy machinery I.e. Excavators, bulldozers, rollers, dump trucks etc
- Full Clean Class 1 licence with WTR (Class 2 preferred)
- Strong work ethic with good communication skills
- Competent with Health and Safety procedures
- Willingness to be on the tools and in the trenches when required
- Respect the equipment and take pride in preventive maintenance.
- Have a positive attitude and promote a healthy team environment
- High personal standards and presentation of work
- Drug-free (Pre-employment, reasonable cause, post-incident and random drug testing).
