and an EARTHWORKS SUPERVISOR
to work on FIFO 2/1
roster to West Australian mine site developments.
About the Role
As SENIOR EARTHWORKS SUPERVISOR
you will coordinate and allocate crews, machinery and resources and oversee the daily activity on site during construction of a heavy bulk earthworks scope of work on a WA mine site project for a blue chip mine owner. You will drive an injury free safety culture and ensure OSH compliance during the project delivery phase. You will be required to work on 2/1 FIFO roster ex-Perth on permanent basis
, typically on 12 hour days. This role will suit a proven SENIOR EARTHWORKS SUPERVISOR
with demonstrated success leading large teams to deliver scopes of bulk earthworks including; minesite access/haul roads, major tailings storage facilities or turkeys nests, rail embankments, plant site earthworks or similar. As the successful candidate you will be rewarded with a mesmerising remuneration package CIRCA $250-265K (Base + 40% Uplift) plus Super. *
NOTE: We are also keen to hear from Earthworks Supervisors who may not yet fit the "Senior Supervisor" category, as there is a current requirement for an additional person to support a Superintendent on a particular project. The salary for that position will reflect your level of experience.
Skills, Qualifications and Other Requirements
- 5-10 years’ experience as an EARTHWORKS SUPERVISOR on minesite BULK EARTHWORKS projects in WA’s Pilbara while employed by civil contractors
- Proven success as an EARTHWORKS SUPERVISOR on major projects managing civil construction teams and effective utilization of plant and equipment to achieve project milestones
- Proven experience on BULK EARTHWORKS projects such as minesite establishment, mine access/haul roads, rail formation, embankments, TSF or Turkeys nests, or similar.
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills to liaise at all levels with various stakeholders
- IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE (or 4 weeks notice maximum) and currently Perth/WA based to undertake FIFO 2/1 roster (ex-Perth only)
- Able to pass pre-employment medical and DAS screening
- Clean current WA driver’s license
- Existing rights to live and work in Australia
- Top-Tier National Civil Contractor with plenty of work = Stability!
