Stellar has partnered with an end-to-end property and land development specialist delivering high-quality residential, commercial, industrial, and subdivision projects across New Zealand. Our client manages the full scope of development work.

Due to growth they are looking for an experienced Development Manager to lead the initiation, management, and completion of commercial property development projects.

To be successful in this position you will have 7+ years property development in New Zealand

** Please note, this position is based in the Hawkes Bay and will require relocation**
   
Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead end-to-end development projects from feasibility and due diligence through to completion.
  • Build strong relationships with consultants, contractors, councils, and investors.
  • Oversee design and construction delivery to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
  • Negotiate and manage development agreements and construction contracts
  • Manage risks and resolve issues to maintain project momentum
  • Identify and secure strategic development opportunities aligned with market demand
  To be successful you will have:
  • Minimum 7+ years’ experience in property development or project management.
  • Strong knowledge of the New Zealand property market and development processes.
  • Experience managing feasibility, design, consenting, construction, and handover.
  • Financial modelling, budgeting, and cost control expertise.
