About the role
This is a field-based Sales Representative role covering Timaru, Waimate, Fairlie and Tekapo. You will manage an existing portfolio of loyal customers while identifying opportunities to grow the territory through new business development. The role suits someone who enjoys autonomy, being on the road, and building trusted, long-term partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow an established client base across South Canterbury
- Develop new business through proactive prospecting and relationship building
- Visit customers on-site and provide electrical product and service solutions
- Maintain accurate records of activity and customer interactions
- Represent the business professionally within the local market
To succeed in the role you will be/have
- Proven experience in field sales or B2B account management
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own territory
- Trade or Electrical experience an advantage
- A practical, customer-focused mindset
- Full, clean NZ driver’s license
