About the Role
We are seeking an energetic, self-motivated and results driven Sales Account Executive to join the New Zealand Sales team, based in Auckland. Reporting to the National Sales Manager NZ, this role plays a key part in managing, retaining, and growing an established portfolio of customers while supporting Key Account Managers on larger opportunities.
Initially, the role focuses on developing strong product knowledge, internal systems capability, and confident customer engagement. You will manage a targeted account base, drive repeat business, identify opportunities for growth, and ensure all sales activity is tracked and progressed effectively. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long term sales career within a structured, high performing environment.
   
Responsibilities:
  • Managing and growing an assigned portfolio of existing customer accounts
  • Supporting Key Account Managers with sales projects and priority opportunities
  • Establishing regular customer contact through structured call cycles
  • Identifying and converting opportunities for increased share of wallet
  • Achieving monthly and annual sales targets across the account base
  • Logging all customer activity, opportunities, and pipeline in Salesforce
  • Working with Commercial Excellence to optimise pricing and margin outcomes
  • Coordinating quotes, samples, and internal support to meet customer needs
  • Maintaining strong customer retention and relationship strategies
   
Key Requirements & Skills:
  • Proven experience as a Sales Representative or Key Account Manager
  • Tertiary qualification in commerce or business
  • Exposure to FMCG, manufacturing, or packaging environments is highly regarded
  • Strong communication skills with a consultative, solution focused approach
  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Commercial awareness and a results driven mindset
  • Confidence working with systems, CRM tools (Sales Force), and sales processes
  • A positive, energetic, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
