About the Position - Te Mahi
We are expanding our Homecare Clinical Team and are looking for an Integrated Registered Nurse to work across Homecare, Community Nursing, and Clinical Trials in New Plymouth and the surrounding areas.
This is a highly autonomous role that involves visiting patients in their homes, where you’ll apply your clinical expertise, assessment skills, case management, and patient education. You’ll also build strong, positive relationships with GP practices and other referral partners.
In this role:
- Assess and develop Homecare support plans tailored to each service user
- Conduct hands-on assessments and support Community Support Worker training and competencies
- Monitor and review service user goals and progress regularly
- Promote a client-centred, holistic approach to help service users live their best lives
- Collaborate with internal teams and healthcare providers to deliver high-quality community care and escalate any concerns appropriately
- Current NZNC registration with a valid practising certificate
- Strong communication skills with a positive, client-focused approach
- Ability to work autonomously and think critically in a solutions-focused way
- Attention to detail and sound administrative/computer skills
- Full, clean New Zealand driver’s licence and legal right to work in NZ
- Passion for supporting service users in the community (community experience advantageous)
- Competitive Pay Rates {Depending on years of practical experience, the pay for clinical workers can range from $80,000 to $90,000 annually}
