The Role
As Christchurch Service Manager, you will lead a team of 15+ service staff and ensure the smooth operation of a busy and customer‑focused branch. Your responsibilities include:
- Overseeing day‑to‑day operations across service delivery
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Managing P&L performance and contributing to commercial decision‑making
- Monitoring service quality, workflow, and utilisation
- Leading and developing your team to ensure professional growth and strong performance
About You
You will bring proven experience from a trade, technical, or field service environment – ideally within plumbing. Most importantly, you’re confident leading people, making operational decisions, and contributing to the commercial health of a service-based business.
You’ll be successful in this role if you have:
- Strong experience in operational leadership
- Proven people management skills
- Solid commercial acumen
- Background in a field service or trade‑based organisation
- Certifying plumbing or gas fitting experience (preferred, not essential)
