We are seeking a commercially experienced QS who'd slot in well with a team of motivated professionals. This isn't a senior, corporate role — more someone confident in their craft, commercially sharp, and keen to grow.
The role is full-time and office-based and sits strongly in the commercial space, particularly:
- Labour-only commercial carpentry packages
- Charge-ups and fixed-price commercial work
- Commercial tendering and pricing
- Variations, forecasting, progress claims
- Supporting main contractors and running small-medium packages
There will be some crossover into residential, maintenance and insurance work, but the core lane is commercial QS and delivery.
Qualifications / experience required would be
- QS qualification (or equivalent experience)
- Around 3-8 years' experience, ideally commercial-focused
- Pricing work + claims variations experience
- Comfortable dealing with main contractors
- Good communicator, team player
- Tauranga-based (or genuinely relocating)
- Full NZ working rights
