This national construction firm is now seeking an additional Quantity Surveyors with a depth of experience in the Canterbury market to join the team based in Christchurch reporting to the Regional Manager. The company has a high profile within the sector with projects including high end fitout, interiors and commercial construction throughout New Zealand.
Experience and skills sought:
- An experienced intermediate to senior level Quantity Surveyor.
- Depth of experience within the Canterbury region
- Strong communication, negotiation, and commercial acumen.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Understand contract documentation
- Technically competent
- The ability to plan and think ahead.
- A keen eye for detail.
- Well develop systems skills
- Ability to manage the QS function from start to finish
- A natural ability to build strong professional relationships with a range of people.
- Relevant Quantity Surveying qualification.
- Experience in commercial NZ construction.
