Quality Assurance Officer
- Be responsible for Quality Assurance within the production team

Due to a high level of workload, we are currently looking for somebody to join our Quality team in a temporary capacity until September 2025. This role will work alongside the production team within the factory environment. We are a leading global manufacturer of flexible packaging and we have 4 manufacturing sites across New Zealand. Our Wellington plant (based in Tawa) is looking for a Quality Assurance Officer to join their team for the day shifts which is Monday to Friday 07:00AM – 03:00PM (please note this role can be either part-time or full-time hours). These hours are also flexible. Please note full training will be provided. Duties will include:
- Conducting Quality Assurance processes to ensure product standards
- Running thorough testing of materials and recording of data
- Work closely with the manufacturing team
- Setting up, monitoring & sometimes operating packaging manufacturing machines
- Monitor configurations and products to ensure machines are fully utilised
- Working on the factory floor signing off quality checks
- Interpret specifications for all areas of production
- Experience in a Quality-based role within a production environment would be preferred
- Mechanical aptitude to form a basic understanding of the machines
- Good communication and able to work in a multicultural team environment
- Thorough with good attention to detail
- Be a team player
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Interested in learning new things
- Keen attitude to learn and get involved
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
