We are seeking qualified Carpenters to join our client on a temporary basis in Gisborne. This role offers variety across different sites, and the chance to work with a safety-focused team delivering quality results.

- Gisborne Based
- Interpreting and working from construction plans, drawings, and specifications
- Constructing, installing, and repairing structural frameworks, walls, floors, and roofing systems
- Measuring, cutting, and shaping timber, steel, and other building materials with precision
- Installing doors, windows, cabinetry, skirting, architraves, and interior fit‑out components
- Framing and erecting timber or steel structures for new builds and renovations
- Completing exterior cladding, decking, fencing, and other finishing carpentry tasks
- Ensuring all work meets building codes, safety standards, and project specifications
- Operating hand and power tools safely and maintaining equipment in good condition
- Following site health and safety procedures, including hazard identification and risk management
- Proven carpentry experience (residential)
- Valid Site Safe (or willing to obtain)
- Valid working rights in NZ
- Full NZ driver’s license and reliable transport
