This role is ideal for a commercially astute Project Manager who thrives on full ownership of project outcomes, from cost control and program management through to client relationships and team leadership.
The Opportunity
As Project Manager , you’ll take responsibility for end-to-end delivery of civil construction projects, with a strong focus on FRP-reinforced concrete structures. Working closely with senior leadership, you’ll play a key role in driving commercial performance, managing risk, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of civil construction projects valued up to $20m from award to completion
- Manage all commercial aspects including budgets, cost reporting, forecasting, and variations
- Provide technical leadership on FRP concrete design coordination, methodology, and installation
- Develop and maintain detailed project programs and procurement schedules
- Lead, mentor, and coordinate site teams, engineers, and subcontractors
- Proactively manage risk, contract compliance, and project margins
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and suppliers
- Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental, and quality requirements
- Minimum Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in civil construction for contractors in Australia
- Demonstrated experience delivering FRP concrete / FRP reinforcement projects
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent cost control and reporting capability
- Experience managing projects valued up to $20 million in Australia
- Confident leader with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Solid understanding of Australian Standards, contracts, and construction methodologies
