One of WA’s established gold producers is embarking on a $10–20 million refurbishment program to breathe new life into their 30-year-old processing plant. With equipment reliability slipping and production at risk, they’re calling in a proven Project Manager
(or Maintenance Superintendent
with project delivery experience) to take charge and lead this project on their behalf working client-side.
Why you’ll want this role:
- $10–20M worth of critical upgrade works, real budget, real impact!
- 12-month program with shutdown-driven delivery in a fast-paced and challenging environment
- Circa $250K + Super on a fixed-term basis
- FIFO 4/3 (Mon–Thurs) ex-Perth, with flexibility to be onsite during shutdowns
- Refurbishment of 3 crushers
- Overhaul of screens (including vibrating screens)
- Structural steel replacement
- Piping upgrades
- All executed in a staged process around an operating plant
You don’t need to be a degree-qualified engineer, but you do need to know how to run complex, brownfields projects in a live operational mining environment. You’ll bring:
- Strong mechanical and maintenance background
- Proven success running shutdowns and refurbishments
- Ability to manage contractors and direct-purchased equipment
- Calm under pressure, decisive, and delivery-focused
