This terrific national civil contractor has strong financial roots and a tremendous track record within the civil infrastructure and mining construction sectors. They are a leading civil contracting business that has considerable work in hand to deliver in the next few years, and now require an accomplished PROJECT MANAGER or SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER  to lead the successful delivery of a remote minesite earthworks and large scale road/highway projects in Western Australia.
  
About the Role
  
In the capacity of PROJECT MANAGER/SPM  working FIFO 2/1, you will be given full autonomy and responsibility to lead and manage major road and/or minesite earthworks and drainage projects in Western Australia working closely with an experienced team of seasoned construction delivery professionals. You will be commercially savvy to manage project costs & risk, and contractually astute with strong understanding of AS2124 standards, as well as delivery requirements for MRWA and mining client's contracts. The PROJECT MANAGER/SPM will oversee and guide the entire project team, providing technical support where necessary, ensuring all project deliverables are achieved, and manage the client interface. This role will suit a civil  PROJECT MANAGER who thrives on the logistical challenge of delivery of remote civil projects and enjoys the cut-and-thrust environment of site work on FIFO 2/1 roster. On offer will be a terrific remuneration package CIRCA $220-250K Base + 40% Uplift & Super , and a start in November!
  
Experience, Skills and Qualifications Requirements

• Minimum Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (or similar)
• 8+ years’ of civil construction experience as Senior Project Engineer/ PROJECT MANAGER/SPM on Minesite Earthworks/Drainage/Road Construction (MRWA) projects for Civil Contractors in Australia
• Previous experience on MRWA Road & drainage construction and remote minesite earthworks scopes valued $50-100M+ (eg. bulk earthworks, embankments, TSFs, settling ponds, rail formation, haul/access roads)
• Willingness and ability to undertake FIFO 2/1 roster ex Perth
• Natural leadership skills and ability to manage client interface
• WA based with existing rights to work in Australia
• Available within 4 weeks’ notice.
• Clean WA C Class Driver’s Licence
• Able to supply 2 favorable references from within the last 5 years.
