The role:

We're seeking a Project Manager who understands design and scope of works—someone who can manage every detail and keep complex commercial projects running smoothly from start to finish.

  • Leading commercial projects through all phases, owning every milestone and managing risks proactively.
  • Acting as the essential bridge between design teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure scope of works is precise, comprehensive, and aligned with project goals.
  • Interpreting and managing design documentation to enable flawless on-site execution.
  • Driving project delivery efficiency by identifying and resolving potential issues early.
  • Collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and clients to maintain alignment and momentum.
  • Applying your design and scope expertise to support informed decision-making and risk management.
Experience / Qualifications
  • Project Management experience in commercial construction or fitouts
  • Strong design and scope of works knowledge.
  • Ability to dive deep into technical details and translate them into clear, actionable project plans.
  • Skilled at managing multiple stakeholders and deadlines, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
  • A proactive problem solver who thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
  • Experience in New Zealand's commercial construction sector is a plus.
