Opportunity to join a leading stone craftsmanship team.

A well-established, New Zealand-owned company with over two decades of experience in the stone industry is seeking skilled professionals to join its team. Specialising in high-end residential and commercial cladding and tiling projects, the company is recognised for delivering exceptional quality and enduring craftsmanship. Its portfolio includes some of New Zealand’s most iconic projects.

The Role

This is a hands-on position suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic site environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality stonework. The successful candidate will be involved in the installation of natural stone cladding, paving, and tiling systems across a range of prestigious projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading project delivery from planning through to installation and completion.
  • Astute scheduler/forecaster
  • Strong procurement skill
  • Managing site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Driving coordination between design, fabrication, and installation teams.
  • Maintaining compliance with NZ building codes, NZS 3910 contracts, and Health & Safety at Work Act (HSWA) obligations.
  • Building strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and main contractors.
  • Reporting on project progress, risks, and financial performance to senior management.
About You

The ideal candidate will bring a combination of technical skill, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. They will be passionate about stone craftsmanship and committed to producing work of the highest standard.
To be successful in this role, candidates should have:

  • Proven project management experience in construction, ideally in cladding, façades, or stone-masonry would be advantageous
  • Strong understanding of NZ construction law and compliance. ·         Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive results under pressure
  • Competency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
