A well-established, privately owned company operating across the South Island is seeking a Project Manager to join its Dunedin-based team. With operations spanning multiple locations and a strong reputation in asbestos removal and demolition services, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing and diversified business.

About the Role As a Project Manager, you will oversee the safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery of a variety of projects. You’ll work closely with clients and internal teams, lead project planning and execution, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements. This is a leadership role that also supports business development efforts and contributes to the wider growth strategy of the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full lifecycle of asbestos removal and demolition projects
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, contractors, and internal teams
  • Oversee project documentation and reporting
  • Monitor progress against project timelines and budgets
  • Lead and support operational teams based in Dunedin
  • Assist with identifying and securing new business opportunities
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in construction, demolition, or related sectors
  • Strong client relationship and communication skills
  • Ability to identify challenges and proactively solve problems
  • Experience in business development or sales is an advantage
  • Solid understanding of construction contracts and project documentation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
  • Highly organised, methodical, and detail-oriented
  • Effective leadership and team management skills
  • Collaborative approach to working across regional teams.
