With a strong pipeline of works this national construction firm is seeking to further enhance the team in the Queenstown region for current and future projects.
Responsibilities will include:
- Be involved in the preplanning and tendering stage
- Develop the project methodology and sequencing
- Planning and effectively managing the program
- Set the project targets
- Develop the procurement plan
- Financial management and budgeting of the project
- Oversee the management of the site teams
- Provide clear direction on tasks to be completed to the site based teams
- Lead, coach and mentor your team to deliver high quality outcomes to support the delivery of on time, on budget and with high quality.
- Liaising with clients and stakeholders while maintaining a high service quality
- Reporting on Health & Safety, quality, cost control and budget
- Meeting performance objectives of the project.
You will be:
- Relevant qualification in Project and Construction management and/or Structural Engineering
- Previous experience as a Project Manager within Commercial Construction.
- Proven ability to lead, coach and motivate project teams.
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong computer / systems skills
- Previous NZ or Aus project management experience.
- Solid IT skills
- Proven planning & program management experience
- Leadership of Health and Safety
