About the Role:
A leading civil contractor in the Waikato region is seeking a highly experienced Project Manager
to lead and deliver subdivision projects. With a strong pipeline of work and a reputation for excellence, this is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional to take ownership of complex land development projects and drive them to successful completion.
The Opportunity:
You will be responsible for managing subdivision developments across the Waikato, typically ranging from 50 to 60 lots. This role requires someone with deep technical knowledge, proven leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Oversee all phases of subdivision projects from planning through to delivery.
- Planning & Execution: Develop detailed project plans, manage timelines, and coordinate resources effectively.
- Team Coordination: Lead site teams, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure smooth project execution.
- Quality & Compliance: Ensure all work meets regulatory standards and company quality benchmarks.
- Financial Management: Monitor budgets, control costs, and manage contracts.
- Problem Solving: Tackle challenges proactively and implement practical, efficient solutions.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain strong communication with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Health & Safety: Champion a strong safety culture on-site and ensure compliance with all H&S regulations.
