With a strong pipeline of secured work, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead earthworks projects from planning through to completion.
This is a senior, site‑focused role suited to a Project Manager with several years of proven success in civil earthworks, who enjoys being close to delivery and running projects properly.
The role
- Leading civil earthworks projects through the full delivery lifecycle
- Managing earthworks scope, methodologies, sequencing, and site execution
- Developing and maintain programmes, budgets, and resource plans
- Leading site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure safe and efficient delivery
- Overseeing cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Identifying and manage project risks, constraints, and opportunities
- Maintaining strong H&S, environmental, and quality standards on site
- Building effective working relationships with stakeholders and project team
- Project Management experience in civil construction or earthworks
- Proven end‑to‑end delivery of complex earthworks projects (planning to completion)
- Strong command of scope, sequencing, methodologies, and on‑site execution
- Confident managing subcontractors, multiple work fronts, and site resources
- Solid commercial acumen across budgets, forecasting, and cost control
- Clear, calm communicator with decisive on‑site leadership
- Strong H&S, environmental, and quality focus
- NZ civil experience and full NZ work rights
- Competitive salary $140k – $180k based on experience
