They now require a civil PROJECT ENGINEER  to join their terrific team on purely metro Perth projects.

About the Role:

This appealing position as PROJECT ENGINEER will see you join an experienced team to support and guide the construction of extensive inground services for a range of clients including Watercorp, Department of Defence, Developers etc, all within the Perth metro region. This will allow you to be home every night with family and friends and pursue your hobbies, sports or social endeavours while forging a great career. As PROJECT ENGINEER , you will support the Project Manager by liaising with clients and overseeing and managing the installation of civil infrastructure such as underground piping for water, sewer, fire systems, cabling and associated pump stations. You will monitor quality, safety and cost, and identify any contract variations whilst reporting on progress throughout the construction process. Some experience with 2D CAD drawing and Pronamics planning will also be beneficial in this “allrounder” role. This is a permanent position offering a superb package CIRCA $140K Base + Super & vehicle  (*based on experience), with a start ASAP pending your availability, and will best suit a candidate currently based south of the river in Perth given the location if your initial project.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience Requirements:

• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering
• Around 5 years’ relevant construction experience as Site/ Project Engineer in Australia for civil construction contractors
• Proven ability to manage client relationships, coordinate & facilitate site construction activities while maintaining strict adherence to required QA standards, policies, procedures and paperwork.
• Successful experience as a Project Engineer managing construction of in-ground drainage systems, underground services installation of piping, water, sewer, fire systems and pump stations.
• Knowledge and ability to develop staging plans, understand Primavera programming and produce progress reports
• Previous experience on Watercorp and Defence projects for contractors will be highly regarded
• Excellent all-round communication skills, motivated, adaptable and proactive problem-solving attitude 
• Perth based (South of the River preferred) with existing rights to live and work in Australia
• Clean C Class WA drivers licence
