The Opportunity:
Temporary Project Administrator to support active construction projects across Queenstown and Central Otago. This role offers a dynamic mix of on-site and office-based responsibilities, working closely with the Project Manager or Construction Manager to ensure smooth project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain project documentation
- Support Health & Safety administration
- Take and distribute meeting minutes
- Liaise with clients, handle inquiries, and manage communications
- Assist with close-out documentation and permit filing
- Monitor project schedules and conduct site inspections
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors
- Provide general administrative support to the project team
You’ll bring a fun / proactive attitude, strong communication skills, and a detail-oriented approach. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain further experience in construction project administration.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in project administration / office manager
- Background in construction (desirable)
- Excellent computer literacy and time management skills
- Able to work independently and collaboratively
- Valid NZ work rights (citizen, resident, or visa holder)
