We are looking for a Process Operator to join our team at our plant based in Wiri. We are looking for a Process Operator for a Monday to Friday day shift which 06:00AM – 02:00PM or similar. Your duties will include operating a Forklift and a Loader as well as other machinery in the plant. This role requires good attention to detail as you will be conducting quality checks, weighing product and overseeing a range of tasks. If you do not have experience in machine operating in a manufacturing environment, full training will be provided. This role does require some heavy lifting so it is required that you are physically fit. You will also be entering data into some online systems so you must be computer literate.
Skills & Requirements
- Demonstrate good numeracy and literacy skills; as well as good mechanical understanding
- Ideally forklift license and experience
- Loader Operator experience would be beneficial
- Reliable transport to get yourself to and from work
- Possess a keen and positive attitude and can easily adapt and learn new systems
- Must be a team player
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test and have no criminal convictions
- Thorough with good attention to detail
- Physically fit and able to do some heavy lifting
