About the position:
This position is responsible for ensuring that client requirements and expectations are being met and the work is being done safely and in accordance with scaffolding guidelines. The Supervisor makes sure about the availability of equipment, gear preparation, manpower planning and resource management. They are responsible for site and safety administration and ensuring excellent communications both on site and between all contract stakeholders.
**Please note, this position is based in the Hawkes Bay and you will be required to relocate**
Key responsibilities:
- Plan work schedules for projects assigned allocating workers to ensure maximum efficiency
- Quote jobs and liaise with current and potential customers
- Design, plan and build scaffolds to required standards
- Manage staff performance with Leading Hands
- Daily on-site supervision of all staff and drive of productivity, including informing of and requesting training
- Contribute to updates at the monthly Branch Meetings highlighting people or operational issues or talking about successful outcomes
- Understand and proactively manage safety standards and procedures
- NZ Scaffolding COC
- Full, clean manual drivers’ licence
- Leadership or management experience as a supervisor or leading hand
- Strong communication skills
