New Home Sales Consultant – Residential Construction

This is a residential sales consultant role with a difference. We are not looking for someone who is only focused purely on sales, but partnering with the client “every step of the way”.
With an office in Porirua the team cover central Wellington, Porirua, Kapiti Coast, Hutt Valley and Wairarapa and as one of two Building Consultants in the team, you'll split your time between manning the show home in Waikanae and being based at the office in Porirua.
You'll be instrumental in selling quality, brand new homes to prospective clients. You won’t just wait for leads to come in—you’ll proactively seek out new opportunities, qualify leads, and build lasting relationships with clients. You’ll be the key point of contact for clients from their first contact right through to the pre-construction handover.
About the role:
- Host clients in our show homes, ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
- Follow up with leads according to priority timelines
- Guide clients through initial consultations, capturing site details, budget, and preferences.
- Facilitate the design and specification process using internal systems
- Work closely with design teams to bring homes to life
- Complete all documentation and schedules required for quoting and contract presentation.
- Present and manage contracts, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and client sign-off.
- Proven experience in residential sales, new home building, or a related field.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Confidence to network, generate leads, and build authentic client relationships
- A proactive, solution-focused mindset.
