Our client is Enaex Australia. Enaex is a global leader in the production and delivery of industrial-grade ammonium nitrate and rock fragmentation services. With over 20 years of experience in Australia's mining sector, Enaex delivers innovative blasting solutions with a strong focus on safety and environmental sustainability. The Australia head office is based in Brisbane, and the company provides blasting solutions across the country.
The opportunity:
Enaex has five emulsion manufacturing plants spread across Australia. Three of those plants are Major Hazard Facilities. Each facility has a Plant Manager, and production has been growing in line with our business expansion. The National Manufacturing Manager will provide effective leadership, direction and planning across the facilities to ensure cost-effective production whilst driving continuous improvement initiatives to meet customer requirements, achieve business targets and drive operational excellence.
Travel across Australia will be a requirement of the position, you would be visiting regional locations engaging with stakeholders and getting to know the plants and people.
Experience required:
- Engineering or similar Tertiary qualifications
- Process risk training/experience – Ideally G2 Implementation of risk management but the qualification is not essential.
- 15 years + experience in manufacturing within industrial industries (Mining, Processing, Energy or Chemicals)
- Multi Project Leadership skills, including experience working effectively and collaboratively with engineering and maintenance teams.
- In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
- Strong knowledge of dangerous goods and explosives legislation
- Proven ability to manage multiple assets and lead teams.
- Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
- Ability to step out of the day to day and develop strategies for scenario planning.
- Significant experience in the management of MHF facilities would also be highly advantageous.

- The role is Brisbane based, centrally located in the CBD
