About the Role
We’re partnering with a specialist equipment and service business with a strong national footprint across Queensland, Victoria, Western Australia and the Northern Territory. The company provides essential equipment solutions and reliable service support to clients in the civil construction, mining, quarrying and industrial sectors.
As National Business Development Manager, you’ll report directly to the National Operations Manager and CEO. You’ll play a pivotal role in driving hire and sales growth nationally, strengthening customer partnerships, and ensuring seamless service delivery across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, research and secure new business opportunities across national markets
- Build and maintain strong client relationships with a focus on service and solutions
- Prepare accurate quotes, hire contracts, sales orders and purchase orders
- Grow and manage the hire portfolio, maximising utilisation and profitability
- Work closely with suppliers to confirm lead times and support project planning
- Collaborate with branch managers and service teams to deliver on client commitments
- 10+ years’ experience in the equipment hire industry, with proven external sales success
- Demonstrated ability to win new business and grow key accounts
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident communicator with a customer-first mindset
- Resilient, adaptable and commercially minded
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
